Running a marathon, whether it’s your 1st or your 50th, is magnified when you run for a cause. With Team Cellmates on the Run, you will be given the tools necessary to run your best, fundraise with ease and even meet the patients who have been helped by the dollars you’ve raised. Imagine crossing the finish line knowing you have made a difference, not to just one person suffering from diabetes, but to their entire network of family and friends. Fundraising is a requirement for all runners and minimums must by met by October 1, 2018. The funds raised through the Cellmates on the Run program makes a huge impact on diabetes research and our search for a cure for diabetes.
HOW TO JOIN OUR 2018 TEAM
There are two ways to join the team!
1) Charity Guaranteed Entry
Skip the drawing and GUARANTEE your entry into the Chicago Marathon! Note: Charity guaranteed entries are limited for Cellmates on the Run and are approved on a first come, first serve basis. Fundraising minimum is $1,500.
2) Qualifying or Drawing Entry
Did you receive a qualifying entry or an entry through the drawing for the Chicago Marathon? If so then you have the opportunity to fundraise and contribute to a cure with your entry. Guaranteed and drawing entry runners receive a $100 fundraising minimum and all the benefits of a team member.

Team fee is $25 (non-refundable or non-transferable). The $25 will be credited towards your fundraising goal and covers a part of the expenses associated with being a Team Cellmates on the Run member.
ENTRY FEE for 2018 BANK OF AMERICA CHICAGO MARATHON
Entry fee for the 2018 Bank of America Chicago Marathon is $195 for US residents/$220 for non-US residents.
