Daniel Paushter is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After joining the laboratory in 2008, he became primarily involved with microencapsulation, islet/MSC co-transplantation, PEGylation, and the treatment and management of Non-Human Primates. He has extensive experience working with murine and Non-Human Primate models. Additionally, Daniel was an active member of the islet isolation team for nearly two years, before continuing on to assist in quality control of the research and transplantable islet products.
