Tricia Harvart is a Research Associate this is involved in the Cell Proliferation Group of the Laboratory.  Her most recent projects focus on the isolation and characterization of human and mouse pancreatic progenitor cells.  She is also involved in the Gold-Nanoparticle Project in the laboratory that is attempting to form a biocompatible intracellular delivery system for pancreatic islet cells.  During her 11 years at the University of Illinois at Chicago she has been extensively occupied in research design, grants and paper writing and tutoring and training students.
