Researchers recently found an inflammatory marker that could help explain the loss of insulin-producing beta cells in people with either type-1 or type-2 diabetes.
Read here about a recent scientific discovery made by Dr. Kathrin Maedler’s team at UCLA and the University of Bremen-- Germany who worked with Dr. Jose Oberholzer to reach this important finding. We are working to try to understand why insulin-producing cells are lost in both type-1 and type-2 diabetic patients.
