UIC Summer Diabetes Research Program

The Summer Diabetes Research Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC)  is a ten-week summer internship for undergraduates with a focus on diabetes research. The program is sponsored by the NIH NIDDK R25 training program, UIC Department of Surgery, UIC Department of Bioengineering and UIC Honors College.

The application process includes essays, letters of recommendations, as well as an interview. Applications for the 2017 program will open at the end of the year. Notification of application decisions will be sent sometime in March. The program will start in late May and will wrap up in late July.
